Background
Advanced Aminos LLC, based in Goodspring, Tennessee, provides specialized laboratory products including bacteriostatic water formulations, sterile glass cartridges, and research delivery pens. Owner John Dees wanted a digital storefront that signaled purity, quality control, and institutional trust so the business could pursue larger laboratory procurement contracts and scale safely.
The challenge
The existing site ran on a basic Webador template that could not support an enterprise store. It lacked the database flexibility to track products across multiple sizes and colors, carried monthly fees without server or data control, and had no system for age and jurisdictional gating or for displaying lab certifications on product pages. Payment was limited to a single static invoice panel, with Cash App details buried in unformatted text, which drove cart abandonment.
What we built
We rebuilt the brand on a self-hosted WordPress and WooCommerce store, migrating all products, metadata, and assets on an isolated development server to avoid downtime. The new build added a responsive age-verification and legal disclaimer popup, and a three-part checkout combining a PayPal gateway (card, Apple Pay, Affirm), a clean Cash App panel linking to the verified tag, and a hardened pay-by-invoice flow for B2B orders.
We added download modules on product pages for Certificates of Analysis, including HPLC results showing 99.9% purity, and ran a post-launch QA pass that removed placeholder text, made the FAQ editable from the admin panel, and corrected transactional email routing to the client inbox.
The result
The responsive WooCommerce store positions Advanced Aminos as a credible laboratory supplier, with a professional layout, transparent COA links, and a compliance disclaimer that support bids for higher-value contracts. The multi-gateway checkout lets buyers order on any device, and a recorded training walkthrough left the team able to add products, photos, and variations on their own without ongoing technical support.
