Operating under Kelli's Gift Baskets in Prospect, Kentucky, the brand curates personalized gourmet baskets, custom ribbons, and regional products for both occasion gifting and high-volume corporate clients. With 70 percent of revenue tied to large corporate orders, owner Kelli Stein came to us for a website design and development project that could scale individual purchases and enterprise workflows on Shopify at the same time.

The legacy storefront leaked conversions and created daily operational drag. Quick View and quick checkout paths let shoppers add items to the bag while skipping mandatory logo uploads and gift messages, forcing the team into manual call-backs. Input logic was broken, the Add to Bag button showed dark text on a dark blue background, and an outdated logo surfaced at corporate checkout. Worst of all, sending baskets to many distinct recipient addresses in one transaction was impossible, so corporate buyers checked out repeatedly or ordered by phone.

We migrated the store to a modern, responsive theme on a staging server to protect live traffic. We hid Quick View triggers to funnel shoppers into the product page, locked checkout until required logos and messages were supplied, and added conditional logic that collapses the ribbon field when None is chosen. For the corporate cohort, we built a bulk ordering workflow where clients download a template, fill in 100 or more recipient addresses in a single spreadsheet, and upload it in one step. We also corrected button contrast, refreshed category grids around Birthday and Thank You gifts, and fixed broken blog media.

The new Shopify storefront went live with zero downtime via a full theme backup, letting Kelli capture and fulfill her Derby season orders without interruption. Strict validation guardrails eliminated incomplete customization submissions and saved dozens of manual call-back hours each week, and automated abandoned cart flows in Constant Contact began winning back high-intent buyers without daily oversight.
