Background
Run by the Carey family out of Northfield, Illinois, The Schirm Firm holds apartment communities and commercial properties from Illinois and Ohio to North Carolina, Wisconsin, Florida, and beyond. Its website is the public face of that portfolio, organized state by state, where each property has its own page with photos and details.
The challenge
A property portfolio changes constantly. Buildings are bought and sold, management companies and photos change, phone numbers update. The site had to present a polished, consistent portfolio across states and stay effortless to keep current as the firm's holdings move, without the office ever touching code.
What we built and maintain
OgreLogic designed and built the Schirm Firm website on WordPress and maintains it under an annual plan:
- A state-by-state rental-property portfolio, with individual property pages carrying photos, virtual tours, details, and leasing contacts.
- A clean, consistent layout across the home page and every state and property page.
- Ongoing maintenance: adding and removing properties as they trade, swapping photos and details, updating contact numbers, and handling domain and search housekeeping, including redirecting the old domain and reindexing.
The result
The Schirm Firm has a professional real estate portfolio website that always reflects what it currently owns, kept current by OgreLogic as the firm's holdings change.
