Background

Founded by Jenny Cova, Wengen Select provides luxurious, cozy alpine stays. As the brand prepared for a launch aimed at high-end guests and exclusive property owners, its existing digital setup was holding it back. The team partnered with us to build a web experience that matched the prestige of the properties.

The challenge

The backend was fragmented. Domain nameservers were locked inside a technical AWS Route 53 environment, while the website and business emails sat on IONOS, creating bottlenecks for a non-technical team. Hundreds of sensitive reservation emails risked being lost in any move. The front end fell short too: homepage text overlays were unreadable on mobile, About Us imagery cropped poorly, logo assets went underused, and bilingual legal pages required for Swiss compliance were missing.

What we built

We paired web design and development with IT engineering. We migrated the domain from AWS Route 53 to GoDaddy for simpler management, and moved the IONOS reservation emails to Google Workspace with full data retention and no downtime. On Squarespace, we rebuilt the responsive front end, refined the palette to deep blue, gold, and white, fixed the mobile hero text, and ensured high-resolution property imagery from Hostaway displayed cleanly. We added dedicated English and German terms pages in the footer.

The result

The new site gives guests a frictionless, immersive browsing experience and serves as a polished portfolio that helps Wengen Select pitch prospective chalet owners. Moving the team to Google Workspace and Squarespace handed the founders full control of an intuitive, reliable ecosystem they can manage themselves, freeing them to focus on hospitality rather than IT.
