Background

The Wynn's USA store carries a large, technical catalog of fluid-exchange service equipment and replacement parts, identified by part number. Jason Krause's in-house team runs it day to day, and it has to stay reliable for the shops and staff who order through it.

The challenge

A parts store is only as good as its search. With a large catalog keyed to part numbers and specs, customers need search that looks inside the full product details, not just the storefront table. And an e-commerce site has to stay secure and online through WordPress and plugin updates, the occasional attack, and years of daily use.

What we built and maintain

OgreLogic built the Wynn's USA store on WordPress and WooCommerce and has supported it for years:

  • A product catalog with a searchable product table, so customers find equipment and parts by part number and keyword.
  • Customer registration with the fields the business needs, and online ordering.
  • Store search tuned to look across full product pages, not just the visible table, so a part number reliably finds its product.
  • Ongoing maintenance: WordPress and PHP updates, plugin updates, SSL, backups, and quick recovery, including cleaning up a site compromise and resetting administrator access to lock it back down.
